BSB: Go Nova Racing announce Claridge and Rowlings

Go Racing Nova has announced the team’s 2023 line-up with Harvey Claridge and Harry Rowlings riding for the team.

Rowlings will join the Go Racing Nova team after spending two years with his family-run team. He would have great success with his team, finishing fifth in the Championship standings, and would take multiple overall top 15 finishes.

Harry Rowlings would take six podiums in the 2022 season, having a very consistent year with his team. His best result would come at Cadwell Park with a second place In the GP2 class.

Harvey Claridge will continue with the team, racing in the British GP2 Championship, having great success in 2022. He would finish third in last season’s standings ahead of Jake Archer and his teammate for this season, Rowlings.

Claridge would take two wins throughout the season, securing his first at Oulton Park and his second at Donington Park. He would have 14 podiums in the season, having a great year in his second season in the class.

Before moving into the GP2 championship Claridge would race in the Honda British Talent Cup. He would be consistently at the front in the series, finishing fourth in the 2020 Championship.

2020 would be his best season, where Claridge would take five podiums in the year. His best result would come at Donington Park where Claridge would take his first race win of the season. 

Claridge said: “I can’t wait to get the 2023 season underway. The team have believed in me over the last two seasons and hopefully, this season, which will be my third in this class, we can push together and keep the momentum we ended last season with. The opportunity is great and I’m ready to give it my all.”

Rowlings said: “I’m really excited to be joining the Go Racing Nova team for this year. Coming off the back of a strong 2022 season for myself, I’m looking forward to joining the experienced team to learn some more and hopefully put together a great year for us all.” 

Team Principal Mark Sadler added: “We’re very excited to have 22-year-old Harry Rowlings, a podium finisher last season, joining the team and riding alongside 17-year-old Harvey Claridge, who finished third in last year’s championship.”
