BSB: DAO Racing return with a BSB and Superstock effort in 2023

For next season DAO Racing will return with Dean Harrison in British Superbikes. They will also run a Superstock bike with Brayden Elliott

After finishing 25th in the British Superbike standings this season Harrison and DAO will continue next year. This means that the pair will stay together for the Isle of Man TT and North West 200 in 2023 also.

However, the new addition for next year is Elliott in the Pirelli National Superstock class. Last year Elliott finished fourth in the Pirelli National Superstock standings on a Honda. But next year he will be taking part on a DAO Kawasaki.

Elliott has shown that he is a quality Superstock rider. However, the Kawasaki is not normally the bike of choice for the Superstock class. This season the top Kawasaki rider in Superstock was in 14th place in the Championship. But hopefully the Australian can have better results in 2023 on one.

Jonny Bagnall, DAO Racing Kawasaki Team Manager said: “Whilst our main focus always has been the roads, we are enjoying competing in a full season of British Superbike racing. It really does benefit Dean on the roads, but we also want to be as competitive as possible on the short circuits too. Having Brayden join us on the Superstock bike is really exciting as we will be pushing hard for the title in that class whilst at the same time developing the Superstock machine for Dean on the roads. We can’t wait to get going!”
