Bikes: Suzuki Live returns in 2023

Suzuki Live will return for 2023 with a full weekend planned at Cadwell Park in July.

On the 15th-16th of July Suzuki Live will return, with classic and modern Suzuki bikes to be on display. A full two days of on and off-track activities are planned, with track sessions, trade stands, a new adventure zone, and special guests. 

Some of the special guests will include previous Suzuki champions. Three-time British Superbike champion John Reynolds, Superstock 1000 champion Taylor Mackenzie, and former 500cc Grand Prix rider Steve Parrish.

The on-track sessions will feature both classic and modern bikes with novice, intermediate, and experienced groups. These groups are for pre and post-2000 Suzuki’s, there will also be multiple classic bike parades.

Some of Suzuki’s most iconic motorcycles will be on show, including some 500cc Grand Prix motorcycles. 

Outside of the circuit there will be test rides available on some of Suzuki’s most recent motorcycles. On the local roads to Cadwell Park test rides will be available on the  GSX-8S, GSX-S1000GT, GSX-S1000, and the Hayabusa.

The new adventure bike zone will allow Suzuki V-Strom owners to ride their motorcycles off-road. There will also be an opportunity to test-ride the new Suzuki V-Storm 1050DE. There will also be expert tuition available with skill areas on undulating terrain.

Camping will be available at the event, with fans and riders able to stay in the Cadwell Park campsite. There will be entertainment on Saturday night, with trophy presentations, star guests, and a live band.

Suzuki is one of the most successful manufacturers in motorcycle racing, winning multiple world titles. The Hamamatsu-based factory’s first Grand Prix title n 1976 with Barry Sheene to their last in 2020 in Joan Mir.

Suzuki GB’s head of motorcycle marketing, Ian Bland, said: “Last year’s Suzuki Live event took place in glorious sunshine and was a spectacular day out for us and for everyone that joined.

“So much so, we couldn’t wait to extend it to a full weekend of track activity, parades, displays, and entertainment., and also add a new adventure bike zone. It’s going to be a full weekend of Suzuki-themed fun, and we’re excited to join our customers on road and track this summer.”
