BSB: Brayden Elliot signs for a full Superbike season with DAO Racing

DAO Racing confirms a two-rider line-up for the 2024 season.

DAO Racing have announced that Brayden Elliot will race in the British Superbike Championship full-time next season. He will join Danny Buchan in the two-rider DAO Racing team.

Elliot has experience with a Superbike, racing in the final three rounds of the 2023 season with DAO Racing. Before the jump mid-season, Elliot raced in the National Superstock Championship.

Brayden Elliot finished 14^th in the National Superstock standings onboard the DAO Racing machine, ahead of Matt Truelove. His best finish of the season came at Snetterton with a seventh-place finish in the race.

The DAO Racing team finished 16^th in the British Superbike standings, ahead of the Marvel HCL Motorsport squad. Dean Harrison raced with the team until Thruxton and has parted ways with the team after eight seasons.

After Dean Harrison parted ways with the team, Luke Stapleford joined the DAO Racing team at Cadwell Park. Brayden Elliot completed the rest of the season with a best finish of 17^th at Donington Park.

Elliott said: “Having this secured for next year is everything I’ve ever dreamed of and been moving towards for so long. I’m really excited for the opportunity and massively thankful to Sommai, Clarissa, Jonny and the whole team for putting their faith in me and giving me this chance.

“Getting a BSB ride isn’t easy for sure, and I’m looking forward to making the whole team proud, so full focus on the year ahead as I commit one hundred percent as always, so I can do everything in my power to make next year the best year it can possibly be.

“With the team’s support and also setting some realistic targets for next year, we will approach it in the right way; I will keep progressing and give it my all.”

Team Manager Jonny Bagnall added: “I am thrilled to have Brayden back on board for the 2024 season. Finishing his 2023 season on the Superbike, he made some steps forward but it was a valuable experience to learn what he needs to put in place for 2024.

“He completes the line-up alongside Danny, which feels like a strong pairing in the fact he will be able to learn from Danny and progress from there. Our goal for him on the Superbike is to keep learning, keep progressing and score some points.”
