BSB: Tarran Mackenzie undergoes successful surgery

At the opening round of the showdown at Oulton Park the reigning BSB Champion fractured his femur. This injury does mean that Mackenzie must sit out for the remainder of the season. After suffering two injuries in the preseason the 2022 season has been a right off for Mackenzie.

Although Mackenzie missed six races at the start of the season due to his preseason injuries he still made the showdown. However, his chances of winning two BSB titles in a row are over.

Hopefully the 2021 Champion will be back and fit for the 2023 season, wherever he may be riding.
