MotoGP: Romano Fenati has been released by SpeedUP

The Italian rider who is no stranger to getting let go by a team has once again been released. After six Grands Prix with the Speed Up Racing Team Fenati has had his contract terminated.

With a best result of 11th in Portugal SpeedUP have decided that he did not do as well as expected.

Here is what SpeedUP Racing had to say: “The SpeedUP Team announces the termination of the contract with the driver Romano Fenati. Team SpeedUP announces the end of the agreement with the rider Romano Fenati.”

This leaves the door open for a new rider to join SpeedUP Racing for the rest of the season.
