BSB: Linfoot Pulls out of Snetterton Weekend due to Technical Issues

Dan Linfoot will not compete in the remainder of the Snetterton race weekend due to persistent problems with his Yamaha R1.

Santander Salt TAG Racing released a statement ahead of FP2 confirming that Linfoot would not be returning to the circuit for rounds four, five and six of the British Superbike Championship.

“Due to continual technical issues with the 2020 Yamaha YZF-R1, the team and Dan have decided to pull out of the weekend.
“The Yorkshireman will remain employed by the team and both parties will continue to focus on other avenues.”

Linfoot’s season got off to a frustrating start at Donington Park with a 14^th place finish in the opening race and technical issues that forced him to retire from the second and third race. Teammate Jack Kennedy suffered similar issues and also did not finish race three.

Kennedy, however, will continue to ride at Snetterton.
