IGTC: 2020 Total 24 Hours Of Spa Rescheduled to October

SRO Motorsports Group has announced the dates for the rescheduling of the 2020 Total 24 Hours of Spa.

The blue riband event of the Intercontinental GT Challenge Powered by AWS, originally scheduled for July 23 – 26, will now be run between October 22 – 25.

Moving the event to October means that drivers will experience an additional six hours of night-running between sunset and sunrise.

Supports series for the Total 24 Hours of Spa will include the GT4 European Series, Lamborghini Super Trofeo and the TCR European Series. The dates for test days have also been set, moving from mid-June to September 29 – 30.

The revised date will mean that Spa will be the fourth round of the 2020 Intercontinental GT Challenge, following the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hours, the Suzuka 10 Hours and the Indianapolis 8 Hour.

Belgium’s government announced last Friday for an easing of restriction measures from May 4th and is expected to slowly open businesses after such date.
