IGTC: Orange1 FFF Racing Team to Represent Lamborghini in 2020

Orange1 FFF Racing Team has announced that it will be contesting the 2020 Intercontinental GT Challenge representing Lamborghini.

The Chinese team, which took a clean sweep of overall titles in the 2019 Blancpain GT Series, will enter the #63 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo, to be piloted by Team Principal Andrea Caldarelli, fellow Italian Marco Mapelli and regular endurance teammate Dennis Lind.

Team owner Fu Songyang is looking forward to the challenges ahead in the 2020 season.

“After the 2019 season, we are committed to take up another important challenge for this year. Together with our partners Lamborghini Squadra Corsa and ORANGE1, the next step for our team os the biggest we could aim at, the Intercontinental GT Challenge. In a certain way, we already in Asia in 2018 and Europe in 2019 so 2020 could be the right opportunity to take everything under the same name.

Orange1 President Armando Donazzan is keen to see the team compete on a global platform at then start of a new decade.

The 2020 Intercontinental GT Challenge gets underway with the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour on January 31 before visiting Belgium, Japan, the USA and South Africa.
