Miller full of confidence after Buriram test ends

Jack Miller has been something of a revelation at the Buriram test, finishing the 3-day testing programme 6th on combined times, just 0.404 from Dani Pedrosa in 1st. The Australian, who moves to the Alma Pramac Ducati set-up for 2018, has been in fine form since stepping on the bike.

“I am really satisfied with what we have done in these tests. The feeling is really good. Every time I go on the track I feel more and more comfortable and lap after lap I have the feeling of being even faster,” began the 2016 Dutch TT winner.

“I made a mistake this morning on the first lap of the long run. I am sorry for the team because we could have finished our work this morning. We return home with great confidence and I look forward to being in Qatar,” he said.

Miller is looking to give Pramac Ducati their first win in the MotoGP class, with Danilo Petrucci likewise setting the same goal, having achieved four podiums in the 2017 season.

Testing will resume at Losail, Qatar, for the final time at the start of March, before lights-out and lights on at the same venue later in the month.
