An uncertain future ahead for Jorge Lorenzo?

Jorge Lorenzo may have crashed at no fault of his own on Sunday night at Losail, but he was 9th. The Spaniard has been far from impressive at Ducati and his latest DNF compounded a crash at Valencia too, giving the five-time champ his first back-to-back DNF since Donington Park and Brno in 2009.

MotoGP is changing and at a frightening rate; Lorenzo, whilst being the champion that he is, may well not be as vital at Ducati as he believes. Petrucci is looking good and there is a shed load of young, quick and importantly, available talent around. So, if you was in charge, what would you do? Sign Jorge Lorenzo and hope things improve or give the seat to someone else and leave Lorenzo out of the team?

  • Would you extend Jorge Lorenzo’s contract with Ducati?

    • Yes, he will improve, he’s a champion
    • No, he’s had enough time and he isn’t the fastest Ducati
